چکیده
Introduction: Dengue hemorrhagic fever is one of the most common infectious diseases in Indonesia. The vector this disease Aedes aegypti (Ae. aegypti). can be controlled by a few measures, them using insecticide. However, frequent use chemical insecticide could lead to resistance and harmful non-target organisms. One solutions for problem bioinsecticide derived from lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus or C. citratus) leaves extract.
Methods: design study true experimental post-test only control group. population used are adult Ae. mosquitoes. For each experiment, 10 mosquitoes required given extract 2%, 10%, 20% concentrations, negative respectively. The lethal effect observed 10, 30, 60 minutes 6, 12, 18, 24 hours.
Results: There significant difference with variations duration exposure (p = 0.007), but no concentration 0.281).
Conclusion: has bioinsecticidal on optimal result mosquito mortality achieved 12 hours.
